What is relaxation?
In everyday language, we define relaxation as letting go of tension. The mind may be less stressed or busy when it is relaxed. This seems challenging in light of modern living. Is it not?
The majority of us today think that we are stressed out most of the week and only have time to unwind on the weekends. This is regarded as the typical way of living. Is this a moral way to live? Is living a relaxed life all the time not our right? Let’s take it back.
harmful stress
What response should you expect if you ask someone why they feel stressed out most of the week? I have a ton of stuff to do—deadlines to meet, jobs to finish, fresh launch preparations, etc. Don’t you anticipate an answer along these lines?
Let’s talk about why the majority of us are constantly stressed.
We all lose the practice of taking a step back and contemplating at some point in our lives while following our aspirations. We start responding automatically. When we are stuck in traffic, we tend to worry about the task that is still to be done, or we may blame the system or have another negative mindset. Few of us think, “All right.” If the traffic is standing still, let me take advantage of the time to unwind, listen to some enjoyable music, or think back to happy times with wonderful friends. Few of us react in this manner.
Stress is a lifestyle.
Stress has become a way of life for us. Very few people stop to consider why they are working so hard, and if we are going to die with a lot of unfinished business, why not at least work more leisurely? Why work so hard if we are going to kill all the joy? We destroy the present in order to create a better future. Is it not?
Stressed-out at work, stressed-out in the home, and lacking free time to simply stroll and take in the scenery… Why? Like we don’t have time to unwind because we want to do as much as we can in the least amount of time. For the vast majority, working nonstop every day of the week is how they live. These stressful lifestyle choices have led to an increase in heart attacks, depression, and other conditions. When we are stressed out, we search for the most recent stress relievers, therapies, etc. to combat the stress.
When the work week is through, we go out again for some downtime. Holidays may get old at times, don’t they?
Why not live comfortably throughout the week?
Why not work while feeling at ease? Why would you worry?
If we want to restore our freedom to live peacefully, reflection on our own lives is crucial. Will adding some lovely images of nature to our laptops be helpful? Will taking a moment to watch a butterfly fly on our screens be of any assistance? the exquisiteness of a vibrant blossom. Can it perhaps relax us a little?
If the answer is yes, download screensavers and schedule time to view them while working. Admire them, reflect on how beautiful nature is, consider how perfect they are, and then unwind.
