Denzel Dumfries is considering joining Manchester United
The 28-year-old assisted Inter in winning the 2023–2024 Serie A championship. The Red Devils are still seeking to sign Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui.
After joining San Siro from PSV Eindhoven, the Dutch wing-back is in the last 12 months of his contract there. He has impressed and contributed to the Nerazzurri’s 2023–24 title success. Dumfries supposedly has other intentions, despite Inter’s desire to have him stay longer in Milan.
The Netherlands international is reportedly keen to leave this summer, and he finds moving to Old Trafford very alluring, according to The Athletic. That switch would have to fit together like a puzzle a bit before it becomes more likely.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future is still up in the air; the English right-back is considering a move to West Ham United. But a transfer to Inter has drawn further interest from the former Crystal Palace defender, and middlemen have proposed a trade.
According to earlier reports, if Dumfries were to depart, Inter might make a move for Wan-Bissaka, who has a contract with United through 2025.
