Gistlovers, a prominent site, has accused an actress, Nancy Isime, of having a romantic involvement with a married man named Michael.
The blogger claimed that Nancy’s secret lover was to blame for her expensive lifestyle, which included a recent vacation to Istanbul, Turkey, in a piece that went viral across social media platforms.
“See, if you sleep this night, you are on your own ooo, this story na section, things people do for money go shock una ooo,” the post stated.
“Meet the married olosho man behind aunty Nancy’s Istanbul trip, see make everywhere scatter make me sef run comot on top him app, una fit collect this page also, I no send anybody papa again, eh feee ku, I come in peace,” says the man.
Nancy responded tersely, stating, “Instabul voyage…. Hmmm. Interesting!! I’ve never been to Instabul, but who cares Abeg, I didn’t get any sleep last night! Abeg, give us the gist.”
In a follow-up post, the blogger, who called Nancy a “beautiful liar,” shared a photo of the claimed hidden boyfriend and dared the OAP to deny knowing him.
“You want to deny your sponsor, Michael, Nancy, look into my eyes and pretend you don’t know who this man is, BEAUTIFUL LIAR!!!” “Hand go touch una one by one, una sha don succeed in following the man’s wife from the house,” the message stated in part.
Nancy, who confirmed knowing Michael, reacted by claiming that his company had been financing her show.
“Ahn Ahn,” she said. Life’s Oba! Why am I not coming here? Isn’t it also a nation of vawulence? You don’t want me to gather if you don’t want to? Mr. Michael Dion Goli, can you say no? Read inside these comments, Abeg, and you’ll see where I write that I know who I am!
“The Naim Company – United Kingdom” Dion will be the main sponsor of Season 3 of TNIS. Na me even hosted the opening of their new office. I’ve even invited my and e families to my birthday celebration.”
Nigerians, on the other hand, have been critical of the actress in the aftermath of the claim.
Nancy responded to the development with a lengthy Instagram post in which she stated that Nigerian women who aspire to be successful should not be surprised when false accusations are leveled against them.
“I knew the breaking news was coming,” she continued, “since there’s been too much wonderful news about me online, which not everyone enjoys.” Once your name has attracted attention, the propaganda begins, whether or not evidence is provided. But, listen, I stood firm against patriarchy’s bullying!
“It’s a pity I haven’t scratched the surface yet.” God has only just begun with me, and it’s easy to dismiss until you’re on set filming till 11 p.m., on the phone constantly preparing for your show’s season premiere lunch, among other duties for brands you deal with and future projects.
“You’re physically, intellectually, and emotionally weary, and you’re trying to make something of your life when you check your notification and it’s swamped with comments calling you out by name. I’m talking about tens of thousands of responses. Because we can’t sue a faceless account, as I have stated, we at the very least demand tangible proof of the allegations made.
“Dig it up and show us, rather than calling me names and attempting to intimidate me into quiet and terror by limiting my comments so no one can see them, then screen chewing the same comment for clout.” It’s fortunate that this occurred during International Women’s Month; the bias against women will be broken till then.
“We’re going to keep grinding.” I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Nancy Isime, and I’m an actor, a multi-award-winning host, the CEO of NIP Studios, and the creator of the Nancy Isime program. Any other title, not mine, is yours.
