Looks like Lauryn Hill and the Fugees won’t be touring for a while.
The musical performance by Hill and her hip-hop group Fugees, who were scheduled to begin a new leg of The Miseducation Anniversary Tour this month, has been abruptly canceled.
The dates of the tour are still listed on Hill’s official website, although many of the events have been marked as cancelled on Live Nation. The cancellation’s cause remained a secret.
A notice on the Live Nation website says, “Unfortunately, the event organizer has had to cancel your event.”
The 30-date tour was scheduled to kick off on Friday in Tampa, Florida, and end in Hamburg, Germany, on November 1. According to Live Nation, ticket refunds will be given to attendees automatically “as soon as funds are received from the event organizer.” It’s unclear if any of the European dates—which include Stockholm, Berlin, and Hamburg—have been canceled as of yet. USA TODAY has contacted representatives for Hill, the Fugees, and Live Nation for comment.
