Onwuzurike Udodi Chudi of Team Nigeria has advanced to the 200-meter relay semifinals in the current Paris 2024 Olympic Games in France.
The Nigerian athlete, who was born in the United States, qualified for Tuesday’s final after winning the first heat in 20.51 seconds.
Pettorossi Italian Diego Aldo came in second place with a time of 20.53 seconds, followed by Mumenthaler Timothe in third place with a time of 20.67 seconds.
Chudi, who was born on January 29, 2003, attended Bloomfield Hills, Michigan’s Brother Rice High School and graduated with a gold medal in the 2021 World Athletics U20 Championships.
