Famous YouTuber Ben Potter, also known as Comicstorian, passed away following a “unfortunate accident,” according to his wife. He was forty years old.
June 8th is when Nathalie Potter’s spouse passed away. Potter passed away at the scene of his automobile rolling many times after it left a roadway, according to Colorado police.
She posted on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, “His channel was one of his greatest accomplishments, and while we all need our time to mourn him, I know he wouldn’t want it to end like this.”
“Ben has been sharing his passion and admiration for his interests for more than ten years. His passion for captivating tales and masterfully crafted characters was the driving force behind his YouTube debut. That’s what the team and I want to continue. To honor him, we will keep reviving the memories of our very own superhero and telling great stories by great people.”
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Colorado State Patrol stated that Potter lost his life in a single-vehicle collision on Interstate 25 close to Fort Collins, Colorado. According to authorities, his Toyota 4Runner veered off the right shoulder of the road, across a frontage road, and repeatedly rolled.
There was only Potter living there. According to the statement, he was buckled up.
“The investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing however, there are currently no indications that impairment or excessive speed was involved,” the statement read.
Comedian Hassan Khadair, who co-hosted a few Comicstorian videos on YouTube, said that he was crucial in introducing new viewers to the comedy world.
“About ten years ago, when the Marvel Cinematic Universe was just getting started, Ben founded Comicstorian. Because of the huge stars, people who weren’t nerds were going to see comic book movies,” he said.
