US Deputy Ambassador to the UN Robert Wood reported that Israel has accepted a US-proposed three-phase accord aimed at stopping hostilities with Hamas militant group, marking a significant advance in attempts to terminate the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
“This proposal is the best chance we now have to at least temporarily stop the fighting so that we can obtain more aid, free the hostages, and accomplish all the other goals outlined in the proposal. Thus, we want to put in a lot of effort to complete it,” Wood stated, adding that Hamas must agree to the cease-fire agreement.
Pro-Palestine demonstrators demanded that 20 Barclays locations in Scotland and England be shut down and divested from Israel’s armaments trade.

An attack on the 210th Golan Division headquarters at the Nafah base in the Syrian Golan Heights has been attributed to Hezbollah.
